Hey!

I am a Theatre Major (and CogSci major at UCSD). UCSD has one of the top Graduate programs for Theatre. The undergraduate program is BA, not BFA, so it is NOT a conservatory (just for your information). The program is great and diverse - you are exposed to every aspect of theatre, not just your area of focus. You have the opportunity to work with a lot of the graduate professors and also the chance to be in shows with the graduate students. The spaces you perform in are the ones utilized by the La Jolla Playhouse - a theatre that often times sends shows to Broadway. You will also get reduced and often times free tickets to see shows at the La Jolla Playhouse and sometimes meet the people who work on the shows.

UGH I can’t figure out which school out of these three: UCSD, UCI, or UCSB has the best dance/theatre program. SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE! note: I’m more of a dancer so if the dance program is pretty weak or is not a conservatory type of program, please tell me.
